I have reviewed your appeal to drop CHEM 213, CLST 205, ENIN 200 and ENSC 480 (Fall 2020) after the academic deadline. After careful consideration of the information that you provided in your appeal letter as well as the documentation that you submitted, I have decided to grant your appeal.

Your grades in these courses will be replaced with a DR notation on your transcript.

Given your circumstances, I am also willing to grant you Credit standing in ENSC 301 (Fall 2020) as well. If you would like to accept this offer, please email asc.appeals@queensu.ca within 21 days of receiving this decision and we will make the appropriate changes to your transcript.

I have granted this appeal based on the timeline and severity of your extenuating circumstances and was happy to see that you have returned to your studies for the Fall 2021 term. Going forward, I suggest that you continue to work with your QSAS Advisor who can help manage the impact of your health on your academics.
