I was sorry to read in your letter of appeal the challenges you outlined, and I have carefully considered your appeal to drop ARTH 250, CLST 130, HIST 225 (F 2018); HIST 245 (F 2019); CHEM 113, CHEM 114 (S 2020); ARTH 301, PHIL 151 (F 2020) past the academic deadline as well as receive Credit standing in ARTH 120 (FW 2017/18) and ARTH 391 (F 2019). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request. Your grades in ARTH 120 and ARTH 391 will be changed to CR on your transcript.

I have granted this appeal based on your circumstances and the??documentation submitted. Going forward you will be responsible for managing the impact of your condition on your academics proactively and I encourage you to carefully evaluate your progress in each of your courses prior to the drop deadline. If you have fallen behind or you are not performing to your satisfaction, you should drop courses by the drop deadline.

Another tool to manage your academics in addition to dropping a course by the drop date deadline is our Academic Consideration service. A student can request short term consideration if they need more time to complete an assignment or had to miss a class due to a documented extenuating circumstance.
