Dear Kealy Whiteman-Kilminster:

I have carefully considered your appeal for an Extension of the Deadline to Submit Incomplete Work or to Complete a Deferred Examination in a Class in PSYC 430, PSYC 435, PSYC 443, PSYC 353, and SOCY 300 (W21). After reviewing your file, I have decided the following:

1. To grant your request for an Extension of the Deadline to Submit Incomplete Work or to Complete a Deferred Examination in PSYC 430 and PSYC 435 (W21). The information that I received from your instructors indicates that you have completed 60% of the course work in these classes and that they will allow you to complete the remaining work during the 2022 Winter term. You are permitted up to April 30, 2022 to complete the outstanding components in these classes and it is your responsibility to contact the instructors to make the appropriate arrangements.

2. To deny your request for an Extension of the Deadline to Submit Incomplete Work or to Complete a Deferred Examination in PSYC 443, PSYC 353, and SOCY 300 (W21). As per Academic Regulation 10.3.4. ?? Incomplete (IN), the student must have participated actively in the class and only one or two elements of the class may be outstanding. The information that I received from your instructors indicate that you have only completed 27.5% of the components in PSYC 443, 20% of the components in PSCY 353 and none of the components in SOCY 300 and so I cannot support this extension as you have too much work outstanding in these classes. Going forward, I would suggest that you consider repeating PSYC 443, PSYC 353, and SOCY 300 in a future term when you are able to complete them successfully.
