Dear Kyle Verma:

Your request to apply for a Letter of Permission for more than 6.0 units during the 2021/2022 Academic year has been approved on behalf of the Associate Dean (Academic).

As you know, Regulation 14.4 indicates that ??normally the last two years of the Honours degree are taken in the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen??s.? However, after reviewing your file and the support that you have received from your department, we will allow you to apply for a Letter of Permission to for 12.0 units of courses toward your Specialization in Software Design at Athabasca for the 2022 Winter term.

Please know that a maximum of 57.0 transfer units can be included within the total units required for your Bachelor of Computing Honours degree program as well as a maximum of one-half less 6.0 units of the total required for the Plan (see Academic Regulation 16.1.3). You may now apply for your Letter of Permission.

Note that official transcripts with final grades must be received by the Faculty of Arts and Science upon completion of the courses. Please keep in mind that you must achieve a minimum grade of C on each course taken on a Letter of Permission, unless stated otherwise.

We wish you well in your studies.

On behalf of
Jill Atkinson, Ph.D.
Associate Dean (Academic)
