I have carefully considered your appeal to drop CLST 309 and CLST 341 (F21) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

Although I see that you were able to succeed in other classes during the 2021 Fall term, I have granted this appeal request as the information that you supplied clearly demonstrates how your extenuating circumstances directly impacted CLST 309 and CLST 341. Going forward, I encourage you to evaluate your academic progress during Week 7 of the term and make sure to drop courses that you have fallen behind in, or in which you find the material too difficult, by the Week 8 drop deadline. The drop deadlines, as they have been outlined in the ??Important Dates? section on the Arts and Science web page, have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure a fair and equitable treatment of all students.
