Dear Lexie Reiken:
Your request to apply for more than 6.0 units on an International Letter of Permission during the Winter 2023 term has been approved on behalf of the Associate Dean (Academic).
As you know, Regulation 14.4 indicates that ??normally the last two years of the Honours degree are taken in the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen??s.? However, after reviewing your file, we will allow you to apply for up to 15.0 units of courses at Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (UAB) during the 2023 Winter term.
You may now apply for an International Letter of Permission through the International Programs Office. We would strongly suggest that you remain closely connected with this office so that you can be made aware of potential disruptions to your international studies if they shall happen.
Note that official transcripts with final grades must be received by the International Programs office upon completion of the courses. Please keep in mind that you must achieve a minimum grade of C on each course taken on a Letter of Permission, unless stated otherwise.
Finally, please be advised that you are allowed to complete a maximum of 57.0 transfer units towards your BSc Honours degree (see Academic Regulation 16.1.3) with a maximum of 24.0 transfer units counting within the LISC Plan.
We wish you well in your international studies.
On behalf of
Jenn Stephenson, Ph.D.
