I have carefully considered your appeal for Aegrotat Standing in CHEM 112, MATH 121 (FW 2021/2022), MATH 112 and BIOL 103 (W22). After reviewing your file, I have decided the following:
To grant your request to receive Aegrotat Standing in CHEM 112, MATH 121 (FW 2021/2022), MATH 112 (W22) due to the timeline and impacts of your extenuating circumstances. I acknowledge that you are not able to complete the outstanding work in these courses at this time and your instructors have confirmed that you have met the learning outcomes of each course based on the work that you had completed. Your instructors have submitted the following replacement grades which will appear on your transcript along with the notation ??Aegrotat: estimated grade?:

MATH 121 (FW 2021/2022) ?? grade of B

To deny your request to receive Aegrotat Standing in BIOL 103 (W22) as the information that I received from your instructor indicates that you had not demonstrated the sort of mastery of the material that would be associated with an Aegrotat grade in this course. However, as the instructor confirmed that you met the learning outcomes of the course based on the components that you had completed, I am willing to offer you Credit Standing instead. If you would like to accept this offer, please email asc.appeals@queensu.ca within 21 days of receiving this letter.
