Course: ARTH 346
Term: Winter
Year: 2022
Category: Drop a course after the academic deadline
Dear Lillian:
I was sorry to read in this recent appeal letter that the difficulties you previously outlined in your letter of appeal have continued and in fact worsened. I will therefore grant your request to drop ARTH 310 and ARTH 346 (W 2022) past the academic deadline based on the circumstances outlined as well as your documentation.
I have granted this appeal based on the severity of your extenuating circumstances and since you have been working with Dr. Khanna to help you manage your health. I know you had hoped to complete the two courses noted above and I am sorry that your health impacted your ability to do so.
I encourage you to adhere to the advice noted in your letter dated April 11, 2022 and strongly suggest you reach out to Dr. Khanna, or with your health care provider as soon as possible to seek support during this difficult time.
Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding. Please consult with the Student Awards Office, Office of the University Registrar, Gordon Hall, to understand the potential implications of changes to course or program registration and/or the consequences of not successfully completing the required course load.
Yours sincerely,
Jenn Stephenson, Ph.D.
