I have carefully considered your appeal to drop ENGL 281 (F20) past the academic deadline and after reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

Although I acknowledge that you enrolled in this class in SOLUS in August of 2020, I have granted this appeal as the documentation that you supplied confirmed that you did not participate in this class at all during the Fall term.

Going forward, you should make every effort to check your schedule in SOLUS as well as to inform yourself of the academic regulations concerning deadlines as they are outlined in the Important Dates section on the Arts and Science web website and to ensure that courses that you do not intend to complete are dropped on SOLUS successfully before the posted drop deadline.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding.
