I have carefully considered your petition to drop ECON 222 and ECON 250 (F22) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I have granted this petition due to the timeline and severity of your extenuating circumstances as confirmed by the documentation that you supplied. Going forward, it is your responsibility to evaluate the impacts of extenuating circumstances on your academic progress during Week 7 of each term and make sure to drop courses that you have fallen behind in, or in which you find the material too difficult, by the Week 8 drop deadline.

I also suggest that you consider registering with Queen??s Student Accessibility Services (QSAS) so that you can work with a Counsellor to help manage the impact of your health on your academics.
