I have carefully considered your petition to drop CISC 101, COGS 100 and STAT 263 (F22) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I have granted this request due to the severity and academic impacts of your extenuating circumstances as confirmed by the documentation that you supplied. Going forward, you should pause to evaluate the impact of your health on your classes during week 7 of the term. If you have fallen behind in a course or find the material too difficult, you should drop the course by week 8 of term. The drop deadlines, as they have been outlined in the ??Important Dates? section on the Arts and Science web page, have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all students.

I also suggest that you register with Queen??s Student Accessibility Services (QSAS) if you haven??t done so already so that you can work with a counsellor to help manage the impact of your health on your academics.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding.
