I have carefully considered your petition to drop ENIN 240 (W19) past the academic deadline and for Credit Standing in BIOL 103 (W19). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I have granted this request due to the timeline and academic impacts of your extenuating circumstances during the 2019 Winter term as confirmed by the supporting documentation that you supplied. Going forward, you should pause to evaluate the impact of your health on your classes during week 7 of the term. If you have fallen behind in a course or find the material too difficult, you should drop the course by week 8 of term. The drop deadlines, as they have been outlined in the ??Important Dates? section on the Arts and Science web page, have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all students.

I also suggest that you consider registering with Queen??s Student Accessibility Services (QSAS) if you haven??t done so already, so that you can work with a Counsellor to help manage the impact of your health on your academics.
