I have carefully considered your petition to drop HIST 219, ECON 212 and PHIL 151 (F21) after the academic deadline and for Credit Standing in ECON 110, ENGL 100, MATH 110 (FW20/21) and ECON 222 (F21). After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I have granted this petition due to the timeline and severity of your extenuating circumstances as confirmed by the supporting documentation that you supplied. Your grades in HIST 219, ECON 212 and PHIL 151 (F21) will be replaced with a DR notation on your transcript and your grades in ECON 110, ENGL 100, MATH 110 (FW20/21) and ECON 222 (F21) will be replaced with a CR notation on your transcript.

If you decide to return to your studies, I want to stress the importance of pausing to evaluate the impact of your health on your classes during week 7 of the term. If you have fallen behind in a course or find the material too difficult, you should drop the course by week 8 of term. The drop deadlines, as they have been outlined in the ??Important Dates? section on the Arts and Science web page, have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all students.

Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding.
