I have carefully considered your petition to drop GEOL 300 (F22) past the academic deadline and after reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I recognize that you made the decision to postpone taking this field study course prior to the start of the Fall due to your responsibilities as an Orientation Coordinator. I see that you emailed the Department with this decision prior to the start of the term and that you attempted to drop it in SOLUS on September 7, prior to the financial and academic drop deadlines. I have granted this petition as it is clear that you made all available efforts to drop this class in due time. I want to commend you on your hard work and commitment to a successful Orientation this year.
