I was sorry to read the challenges you outlined in your petition letter, and I have carefully considered your request to extend the Incomplete Grade in PHIL 275 (W 2022). After reviewing your file and receiving support from your instructor, I have decided to grant your petition.

Please contact Professor Davies to make the appropriate arrangements regarding the completion of the outstanding requirements in this course which I understand is the midterm and a final essay. These requirements must be completed by April 30, 2023 at the latest. Professor Davies suggests that it would be wise to submit the mid-term first, and then work on the final essay after getting feedback about the midterm. I am forwarding instructions for those essays and associated grading rubrics in a separate email.
