Dear Tovah,
I am sorry to have read in your petition letter the circumstances you outlined, and I have reviewed your request to change the grade you received in ANAT 312 (F 2022) to Credit standing. After careful consideration of the circumstances outlined and the documentation submitted, as well as the information supplied by the instructor about the learning outcomes achieved in this course, I have decided to grant your petition.
Your grade in ANAT 312 (F 2022) will appear on your transcript as CR.
Tovah, I encourage you to follow through with your plan to submit your accommodations as soon as possible and work with a QSAS Advisor who can assist you with both your learning challenges and your courses. Going forward I suggest that you to carefully evaluate your progress in each of your courses prior to week 7 and if you have fallen behind or you are not performing in the courses to your satisfaction, you should drop courses by the week 8 drop deadline.
Another tool to manage your academics in addition to dropping a course by the drop deadline is our Academic Consideration protocol. A student can request short term consideration if they need more time to complete an assignment or miss a class due to documented extenuating circumstances. Here is the link for information about that process:

Best of luck with your course this term.
Sincerely,
Jenn Stephenson Ph.D.
