I have granted this request due to the academic impacts of your extenuating circumstances as confirmed by the documentation you supplied. Going forward, it is your responsibility to pause and evaluate the impact of extenuating circumstances on your classes during week 7 of the term. If you have fallen behind in a course or find the material too difficult, you should drop the course by week 8 of term. The drop deadlines, as they have been outlined in the ??Important Dates? section on the Arts and Science web page, have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all students.
Also, I notice that you are currently enrolled in 18.0 units of courses for the upcoming 2023 Summer term. Please know that Summer term courses are condensed and fast-paced so it is not suggested to take any more than 6.0 units at a time.
Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding.
