I have carefully considered your petition to drop ASTR 100 (F22) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I want you to know that this was a lenient decision as the documentation that you submitted indicates that your health issues are chronic and began before the Fall term began. I acknowledge that this is your first year at University and I have granted this request as you have connected with an Advisor at Queen??s Student Accessibility Services to help you manage the impacts of your health on your academics.

Going forward, it is your responsibility to assess your progress in your courses by week 7 of the term. If you have fallen behind in a course or find the material too difficult, you should drop the course by week 8 of term. The drop deadlines, as they have been outlined in the ??Important Dates? section on the Arts and Science web page, have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all students.
