As part of the standard process when appealing to the Board of Studies, the Associate Dean (Academic) reviews your appeal submission. I have carefully considered your appeal to late drop BIOL 102, ANAT 100, MATH 121 and PATH 120 (summer 2023). The newly provided documents explain the changed situation, therefore I have decided to grant your appeal.

Going forward, I recommend that you pause and evaluate your courses, and if need be, drop courses by the drop deadline. The drop deadlines, as they have been outlined in the Important Dates section on the Arts and Science web page, have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure a fair and equitable treatment of all students at Queen's.
