To grant your request to drop PHIL 153 (F22) due to timeline of your extenuating circumstances as confirmed by your November 13, 2022 – February 5, 2023 Academic Consideration request.
To grant your request to drop ASCX 150 and FREN 118 (W23) however, I want you to know that this was a lenient decision as I see that you enrolled in ASCX 150 on August 30, 2022 and that you enrolled in FREN 118 on January 18, 2023. I have granted this request as I acknowledge that this was your first year at University and as the instructors of these courses confirmed that you did not participate in them. Going forward, you should make every effort to check your schedule in SOLUS as well as to inform yourself of the academic regulations concerning deadlines as they are outlined in the "Important Dates" section on the Arts and Science web website to ensure that courses that you do not intend to complete are dropped on SOLUS successfully before the posted drop deadline.
Note that any change in academic registration may impact government or private-firm student financial assistance eligibility and/or funding.
