Dear Masih,

I have reviewed your appeal packet regarding your request for credit standing in COGS 100 (Fall 2022), CISC 121, ECON 112, RELS 137 (Winter 2023), and MATH 121 (Fall/winter 2022-23). After careful consideration of your appeal, I have decided to grant your request on the grounds of new documentation attesting to a need for retroactive accommodation. You have a newly diagnosed disability which may have impacted your academic potential in your past studies.

Going forward, I recommend that you pause and evaluate your courses during week 7 of each term, and if need be, drop courses by the week 8 drop deadline. The drop deadlines, as they have been outlined in the Important Dates section on the Arts and Science web page, have been established by the Faculty of Arts and Science to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all students at Queen's.

I also recommend that you connect with an Academic Advisor to ensure you are on a clear path for graduation. I see that you are in the BSc (General) MATH plan, but are registered for all computing courses this coming academic year. Discussing your plans and course selection with an Academic Advisor would be recommended.
