Category: Add a course after the academic deadline
Instructor: Catherine Stinson

Dear Kyle Retter,

I have reviewed your petition to add PHIL 206 (F23) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I want you to know that this was a lenient decision as I don’t see any attempts in your SOLUS history to add this class before the academic deadline. I have granted this request due to the support that you’ve received from the instructor and your strong academic plan.

Kyle, I need to warn you that taking 18.0 units in a term is very heavy course load. Please ensure that you monitor your academic progress very carefully and drop courses as needed within the academic deadlines. Taking more than the recommended number of courses per term is not considered grounds for petitioning to drop a course after the published deadline.

Tuition fees for this course will be charged to your student account once it has been added to your transcript. It is your responsibility to catch up on any late or missed work in the course and the instructor is not obligated to accommodate any student due to late registration. I would suggest you contact the instructor to discuss the best way to catch up in this course.

You will be added to OnQ once you are registered, which should be within the next couple of days.

Best of luck in this course.

Sincerely,

Jenn Stephenson Ph.D
