I want you to know that this was a lenient decision as Academic Petition and Appeal Regulation 3.3.1.5. is clear that “an appeal for the extension of the deadline to submit incomplete work or to complete a deferred examination beyond one term must be submitted prior to the deadline for the submission of incomplete work.” However, I have granted this request as your instructor is willing to grade the outstanding essay at this time.
