I have carefully considered your petition to drop DEVS 220, ENIN 200, HLTH 200 and PHGY 170 (F23) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

Your grades in these courses will be replaced with a DR notation on your transcript.

I want you to know that this was a lenient decision as your petition did not contain documentation to support your request. I acknowledge that you have recently connected with Academic Advising and that you will be registering for Queen’s Student Accessibility Services (QSAS) for the 2024 Winter term and I have granted this request due to the academic impacts of your extenuating circumstances as described in your petition letter. Please know that it is the student’s responsibility to pause and evaluate the impact of extenuating circumstances on their classes during week 7 of the term. If they have fallen behind in a course or find the material too difficult, they should drop the course by week 8 of term.
