I have carefully considered your petition request to add CHEM 113 (F23) after the academic deadline. After reviewing your file and the information that I received from the Department of Chemistry, I have decided to grant your request. This course will replace the Fall portion of CHEM 112 (FW23/24) on your transcript. Please know that the Winter portion of CHEM 112 (FW23/24) will be dropped without penalty.

I recognize that you have returned home due to your family-related extenuating circumstances and cannot complete your 2024 Winter term courses. I have granted this request due to the timeline and severity of your extenuating circumstances as well as the support that I have received from the Undergraduate Chair of the Department of Chemistry. Your instructor has submitted a final grade of D for CHEM 113 (F23) which will appear on your transcript.
