I have carefully considered your petition to drop PHAR 100 (W23) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

I acknowledge that you were not able to successfully complete this course through an Incomplete Grade during the subsequent Summer term and was glad to read that you have connected with Queen’s Student Accessibility Services for ongoing support. I have granted this request due to the timeline and academic impacts of your extenuating circumstances as confirmed within the documentation that you supplied.

Your grade in this course will be replaced with a DR notation on your transcript.

Going forward, it is the student’s responsibility to pause and evaluate the impact of extenuating circumstances on their classes during week 7 of the term. If they have fallen behind in a course or find the material too difficult, they should drop the course by week 8 of term.
