I have carefully considered your request for a deferral of outstanding coursework in PHIL 378 (F24). After reviewing your petition and the information supplied by the instructor of the course, I have decided to grant your request.

I have granted this request due to the timeline and academic impacts of extenuating circumstances as confirmed within the documentation you supplied. Please know that the instructor of PHIL 378 (F24) is willing to grade the outstanding work however late submission penalties will apply. It is your responsibility to connect with instructor Ruwe to make the appropriate arrangements.

Alternately, as I recognize the extenuating circumstances that you experienced during the 2024 Fall term, I am willing to allow you to drop PHIL 378 (F24) after the academic deadline.
