Dear Mr. Barnett-Kemper:

I have carefully considered your request to have your appeal heard after the 21-day timeline for submission. While there are no extenuating circumstances presented to explain why you were unable to submit your appeal until the present time, I do recognize that you are close to graduation. For that reason, I will grant your request. You may now proceed with your planned appeal to waive the requirement to withdraw for one year. This appeal must provide an explanation of your extenuating circumstances from the past year as well adequate supporting documentation to confirm them.

Please access on the on-line appeals system at: http://www.queensu.ca/artsci/help/academic-appeals/online-appeal-submission After you enter your NetID and password you will now have a new appeal option called €œSubmit a Late Appeal€. Choose this option and follow the steps. Your appeal letter should explain the extenuating circumstances concerning these particular courses, and include any relevant supporting documentation that wasn€™t included with your prior appeal. There will not be a fee for this new appeal, as it will be considered an amendment to your 21-day deadline appeal so the system will skip over the payment step.
