I have carefully considered your appeal to drop ENGL 100 (S 2015) past the academic deadline. After reviewing your file, I have decided to grant your request.

Although you did not supply any documentation to support your appeal, I recognize the fact that it would be very difficult to obtain anything to confirm the circumstances you describe in your letter. Therefore, I am exercising some leniency and granting your appeal based solely on the explanation you provide in your letter. However, please note that any further appeals must contain appropriate documentation from a professional in order to be successful.
