Petition Letter
To Whom it May Concern,
My name is Allana Conrad, I started my academic journey at Queen's in the fall of 2020.
My university experience has been especially difficult as I have faced severe personal traumas. Specifically I experienced serious trauma in the fall of 2022. This led to major setbacks in my mental health, which ultimately led to my failing of DEVS 358, DEVS 356, and DEVS 361 in fall 2022. I now recognize that my traumatic experience led to meh inability to recognize the severity of my mental health situation in the fall of 2022. However, I am now taking steps to improve my mental health.
I have take the winter 2023 academic semester off in order to focus on my wellbeing and I am meeting with a therapist weekly in oder to become my happy and motivated self as well as to achieve the academic expectations of Queen's.
