Petition Letter
Good morning
I am hoping you will be able to help me. I am requesting that I be able to drop Writ 125 course and realize I have missed the drop date. I was approved for accommodation for extenuating circumstances for the death of my father-in-law, he passed February 16th. I underestimated how much time and effort it would take to stay on track along with the effects his death would have on my mental health. I am requesting to drop Writ 125 to be able to retake it in the future with my full attention. The issue is not the course itself or the Professors or TA??s they have been extremely supportive throughout. The issue for me currently is catching up with the workload for Writ 125 as well as my other 3 courses. I am asking at this time to please approve the late course drop.
