Petition Letter
Hello,
I am requesting permission to drop and be removed from POLS 415. I am unable to dedicate enough of my time to the course that it needs. I have personally found the class extremely difficult. It has been a very poor match of my interests, skills, and learning style and I am fearing that it will have a significant impact on my grades in other classes and overall GPA and have a permanent negative impact my future academic possibilities. I believe I am not representing myself effectively in my other classes and that my potential is being diminished. I would be more comfortable being allowed to drop this course because I am unable to focus on my other classes while enrolled in this course and it is causing me anxiety and stress.
I hope this will be okay, it would significantly help my academic potential.
