Petition Letter
Please accept my letter in order to appeal to drop the following courses:
GNDS 315, POLS 396 and POLS 394(Winter 2022) POLS 382, GNDS 360 and POLS 388 (Fall 2022).
My request to drop these courses is based on extenuating circumstances due to health issues. I was in a similar position last Fall and subsequently I was unable to attend classes or meet academic deadlines. Unfortunately, I relapsed, and I am currently receiving medical treatment and therapy. While these quite a lot of courses, 2022 was an extremely difficult year for my family and myself.
I am currently enrolled in three courses this term and I am confident that this will be my final request to you. I have supports in place to help me succeed academically as well as to continue with my physician and therapists to manage my health. I am doing much better in these courses and will continue to succeed. I know that I am capable of graduating with a degree from Queens University and am looking forward to making myself as well as this institution proud.
