I am writing to request permission to repeat the course MATH 121, as the grades for the aforementioned course were released on May 12th, after the deadline to add courses, which was on May 5th. I sincerely believe that retaking this course is essential for my academic progress, as it serves as a prerequisite for second-year studies.
I enrolled in MATH 121 with great enthusiasm, recognising its significance as a foundation for further mathematical concepts and applications. However, despite my best efforts, I unfortunately did not achieve the desired grade. The course material proved to be challenging, and while I sought additional resources and academic support, I was unable to fully grasp the concepts within the given timeframe. As a result, my final grade fell short of the passing requirement.
