Academic Plan
In my future studies, I have devised a comprehensive plan to ensure my academic success while coping with my extenuating circumstances. First and foremost, I intend to maintain regular meetings with a medical professional and personal counsellor to address and manage my ADHD effectively. I will diligently adhere to any prescribed treatments, including medication, to optimize my focus and academic performance. Moreover, I plan to reduce my course load to a manageable level that allows me to dedicate ample time and energy to each subject. By taking a lighter course load, I will be able to maintain a healthier balance between my academic responsibilities and personal well-being, which is crucial for my long-term success.
Additionally, I am committed to actively seeking out academic support services provided by the university, such as tutoring, study groups, and academic counselling. Engaging with these resources will allow me to enhance my learning experience and develop effective strategies tailored to my learning style. Furthermore, I will establish a structured study schedule and implement effective time management techniques to ensure that I allocate sufficient time for coursework, assignments, and exam preparation. By prioritizing my academic commitments and developing efficient study habits, I am confident that I will be able to consistently perform at my best.
Lastly, I am determined to maintain a proactive and open line of communication with my professors and academic advisors. Regularly seeking their guidance and support will enable me to address any challenges that may arise promptly and proactively seek assistance when needed. I understand the gravity of my previous academic performance and the importance of demonstrating significant improvement. I assure you that I am fully committed to rectifying my academic standing and proving my capabilities. I am prepared to provide any additional documentation to support my petition. Please advise if there is anything further documentation or process required on my part. I would be grateful for an opportunity to meet and discuss my situation in person, should you find it appropriate.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to a favourable response to my petition. Should you have any questions or require further information, please do not hesitate to contact me via 18sc118@queensu.ca Or 647-871-7220
All the best,
Sebastian
