Petition Letter
I failed my course in classics roman history by a small percentage, I know that I can pas the course if given another chance. My family has been dealing with a really difficult situation, my mom has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis for many years but more recently her health has seriously deteriorated to the pint where she can't walk anymore. Travelling home during school to help take care of her when my dad is working extra shifts on the weekend seriously affected my entire academic performance this year, trying to balance my studies and home life. My mom isn't going to get better because MS has no cure. It's difficult to try and balance schoolwork and home life but I managed to deal with most of my courses, but I failed one course and it is really pulling my GPA down and it may be the difference for me getting into my planned politics major and not getting in and dropping out of school entirely.
