Hello, I hope this petition reaches you well.
I am writing this petition to the Associate Dean (Academic) to ask that LLCU 102 please be removed from my first-year transcript. The course is currently showing up on my transcript with an assigned grade of an F.
The misunderstanding occurred as I had taken LLCU 101 in the first semester and briefly dropped it within the approved time period, as I had felt that my courseload was heavier than I initiated. I consulted academic advising via Zoom on how to drop the course and went onto Solus to drop the class. Within the last few days, I have called academic advising, and they have approved the fact that I did indeed drop LLCU 101 on Solus, as the course does not appear on my transcript either.
As I did not take LLCU 101, I had no intention of taking LLCU 102.
LLCU 102 appearing on my transcript has caused my GPA to suffer greatly and it has caused issues with successful program planning.
At the moment I am attempting to change majors from Psychology to a Philosophy and Art History double major as I have a strong passion for the subjects and have performed well in their respective fields.
If you would be able to assist me in correcting this misunderstanding I will be able to prosper in my areas of passion and interest in Philosophy and Art history as I contact their faculties.
Thank you for your time and assistance.
Warmly, Amitis Tavakolli.
