Academic Plan
To ensure a seamless transition, I have consulted with Helga, who confirmed that I can enroll in four fourth-year film courses at Queen's during the Fall semester. By doing so, I will fulfill the requirements of my film plan and will not need to take any additional courses while studying abroad. This arrangement allows me to fully immerse myself in the diverse and enriching courses available at Universitat Autònoma De Barcelona.
During my research, several electives at Universitat Autònoma De Barcelona have stood out to me. These include Intercultural Communication, art history courses focusing on graffiti and architecture, Politics of The Developing World, and Spanish Contemporary Art. These courses, distinct from my usual film curriculum at Queen's, offer a chance to broaden my knowledge of culture and engage with subjects I would not typically consider. I am excited to embrace these new perspectives and expand my understanding of the world.
Additionally, I would like to mention that for my ENIN certificate, I have the flexibility to take one ENIN course during the first semester and complete the remaining two courses either during my time abroad or during the subsequent summer, as the courses are available online. This flexibility allows me to fulfill my certificate requirements without any conflicts during my study abroad experience.
