Petition Letter
Hello, my name is Jihyeon Park. I would like to request the withdrawal for PHGY 215. After writing the midterm exam (June 13), I planned to decide afterwards whether I should drop the course depending on the result of the exam. However, the result came out today (July 4), later than the deadline for dropping the course (June 23), which I had not expected. My mom has moved from Toronto to Kingston on July 1st and I had a lot of things to take care of for two weeks, a week before and after her moving date, since she fell sick. Life has been hectic, and while focusing on waiting for the midterm result, I failed to check the due date. I cannot handle the workload and I'm sincerely desperate to drop this course.
