Petition Letter
Dear Associate Dean,
Unfortunately, due to my mental health and subsequent medication trial, I was unable to write my final exams for CHEM 112 and PSYC 100 at the end of the Winter 2023 term. There were unforeseen adverse side effects caused by an increase in the dosage of the medication I was on, which prevented me from being able to attend my final examination. Throughout the summer, I have worked to figure out a medication plan that works for me and should prevent this going forward. I additionally, have been in contact with my advisor through Ventus to convey these updates.
