Petition Letter
To Whom It May Concern:
Hi, I am Linjun Xie (Student ID: 20093608) and I am a forth-year student from FILM department.
The purpose of this letter is to apply for taking two 400-level FILM courses at Soochow University during 2024 Winter.
There had been some bad changes in my family, my grandfather had passed away, and I did not see the last of him. That was very awful and painful to me. Also, the business of my parents were facing to some troubles, so I stayed in China and made adjustment (mentally and financially). That is the reason I did not go back to the Queen’s in the past two years.
Currently I am applying for an ILOP to take two FILM courses, which I had sent syllabus to FILM department (undergraduatefilm@queensu.ca) and Professor Gary said they are qualified to transfer into Queen’s 400-level credits. For my degree plan, there are two 400-level FILM courses to take and I could graduate in 2024 Summer. So that I am writing this request to obtain a letter of permission to take the courses away from Queen’s.
