Subject: Appeal Consideration Due to health issues
To whom it may concern,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to appeal for consideration considering the unforeseen health challenges I encountered during my time at Herstmonceux Castle. I am Athena Kondos a student enrolled in the Faculty of Arts and Science here at Queens. I would like to bring to your attention the circumstances that have significantly impacted my academic performance.
Shortly after my arrival at Herstmonceux Castle, I began experiencing severe health issues. Between October 10 and 23, I endured allergic reactions marked by chest pain and palpitations. This ultimately led to my collapse, and I was urgently transported to the hospital in Eastbourne. In the aftermath of this health episode, I found myself incapacitated and unable to walk to the castle to attend my classes.On October 23rd, while participating in a midterm trip to Scotland, my health further deteriorated as I began experiencing seizures. Subsequently, I was rushed to the emergency room on multiple occasions, necessitating ambulance calls at Bader College. Regrettably, these health challenges prevented me from attending any of my Spanish classes. Consequently, I was unable to grasp the required material and adequately prepare for the impending exam.
I understand the importance of academic commitment and the significance of assessments in my course. However, the severity of my health issues during this period posed significant obstacles to my attendance and performance. I have attached medical documentation supporting.
I kindly request your understanding and consideration in reviewing my situation. I am willing to provide any additional information or documentation required to support my appeal.
