Petition Letter
Hi there,
I am writing as I missed the academic deadline to add and drop courses, and have become overwhelmed by the form of testing that will take place in a course in which I am currently enrolled. As a fifth year student, I am taking electives to fill in the gaps of my missing credits leading up to graduation. By missing the deadline, I have been enrolled in CSLT 103, a course which does in person testing on Friday mornings that I will not be able to attend due to my work schedule that cannot be adjusted. I am hoping it is possible to drop this course and add something different in its place (POLS 242) as it will give me the opportunity to successfully complete the six courses I need to finish this semester in order to graduate. As well, accommodating this swap will save me a significant amount of money, and as a financially independent student relying on financial aid and loans/grants, that is of the utmost importance to me at this time.
