Dear Dr. Stephenson,
I am petitioning to late drop CHEM 212 (fall, 2023), and receive credit standing in both BCHM 218 (fall, 2023) and BIOL 243 (fall, 2023). From late November to the end of the exam period I had been dealing with both physical and mental health illnesses. During this time period I struggled with completing everyday tasks both academically and personally. This greatly impacted my ability to finish end of term assignments to the best of my ability, and significantly impacted studying and writing of my final exams. During the occurrence of these extenuating circumstances I had been in and out of the hospital as well as in contact with my family doctor. I Have since been in contact with medical professionals that have helped me deal with my ongoing physical and mental illnesses. For the winter term I am currently enrolled in a lighter work load and will be in contact with a medical professional who will provide personal consultation throughout the rest of my study period.
