Petition Letter
To whom it may concern,
I am writing this petition with the intent of being re-enrolled in a class that was dropped by error, as well as dropping a class after the deadline which was originally intended to be dropped.
On January 19, the last day to drop classes, I logged into Solus to drop FREN 118. I am unable to complete FREN 118 as I graduated with a French diploma and therefor, participating in the class would be a breach of academic integrity.
After completing the class drop for FREN 118, I logged out of Solus. On January 30th, Tuesday of this week, upon logging into OnQ, I discovered that I no longer had access to one of my classes; GLPH 171. I had access to the class up until this date.
Upon logging into Solus again, I discovered that I remain enrolled in FREN 118 and instead, Solus dropped GLPH 171.
I write this petition with the intention of being re-enrolled into GLPH 171. I have continued to attend the class and I have communicated with the professor about the mix up that occurred. I am still attending lectures and working on group projects, although, I no longer have access to the online assignments in the class.
The professor indicated to me that if there is documentation that I was enrolled in class before, I have her permission to be re-enrolled.
In addition to being re-enrolled in GLPH 171, I request that I have FREN 118 dropped from my schedule, as that was what the initial intention was.
