Petition Letter
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you today to express my sincere concerns regarding my enrolment in the ANAT 100 course. Over the past year I have been dealing with an overwhelming amount of strep throat which has made it incredibly hard to maintain going to my classes as often as I would like. Last semester I found a way to manage my classes to the best of my ability; however, this semester it’s really taken a toll on my stress levels, especially regarding ANAT 100. Each absence has compounded my anxiety and has made it increasingly challenging for me to catch up with the course material and assignments. I feel as though I have fallen behind in all my classes due to this issue but this particular class is extremely time consuming and I put most of my efforts towards this class. I’ve come to the realization that in order to stay on top of the rest of my classes, it will be way more beneficial to withdraw my enrolment in ANAT 100. I want to assure you that this decision has not been made lightly. I am fully committed to my academic pursuits and am determined to return to my studies as soon as my health allows. I have a tonsillectomy scheduled at the beginning of May to ensure that this will not be an issue regarding the following years. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
