Petition Letter
Dear Professors,
I am Yuting Wang. I submitted a few long-term academic considerations because of the sharp pain inside my right ribs during the winter semester. This causes me to feel severe pain every time I sneeze, burp, even aggravate my breathing, or do some movements. Not to mention that my colleague also has allergic rhinitis, and I keep sneezing, which is severe. That seriously affects my daily life. A week after the onset of the disease, I went to a relative's home in Toronto to recover. They were once doctors. I stayed for some time under his advice to help me regain my health. I took a break for months until I recovered. I was unable to participate in most campus courses this semester due to my serious illness. I studied independently while ill and struggled to complete three of my five subjects. I learned as hard as possible, but since I missed many offline classes, I had no recording to watch. I don't think I can get good grades, which may prevent me from joining the major I want to go into this fall. So I emailed the professor, and at his suggestion, I tried to submit a petition to drop the two courses I couldn't complete. And make up for it during the summer vacation. This is my urgent need; I hope you have a wonderful summer vacation.
Sincerely,
Yuting Wang
