Academic Plan
My Academic Plan going forward is to continue to study Mathematics. I enjoy the courses and am interested in the material being taught. I am going to concentrate on Mathematic courses for my fourth year so I can be successful. I was successful in these courses in the past year so I will continue to take courses in this field of study. I plan on speaking with my professor again so I can know what specific courses I need to graduate. I also plan on taking only an 80 course load next year instead of a full load so I can relax my work load and achieve success in my courses.
My strategies for success include speaking with a Learning Strategist. I plan on making an appointment with a Learning Strategist from Health, Counselling, and Disability Services to help me better understand my strengths and choose the appropriate courses to take based off that as well as contacting my professor once again. I was able to improve my grades this past year compared to my second year and I plan on focusing on my strengths once again this year so I can have even more success. By speaking with a Learning Strategist, I will be in a better position than I was at the beginning of my third year as I will have even more insight into my course selection. I know there is help out there and I am making the appropriate actions to utilize this help. I have also spoken with an Academic Advisor, who helped me formulate this Academic Plan.
I wish to stay at Queen¿¿s University next year. Please understand that my second year was an outlier in my education and I hope you give me a second chance. Thank you for considering this appeal.
