Academic Plan
I have already put my academic plan partially into action. I have started taking courses this summer to help me get back on track. I focused on taking my main core course of CISC 121 this summer so I can take its follow up course CISC 124 in the fall semester. I have also run the needed math course alongside 121 this summer.
Going forward my plan is to focus mainly on my core courses and supplement that with a wider range of courses so that I can make sure I do well in my core courses. I also plan on taking a slightly reduced course load to make sure I am not overwhelmed at the start of the semester. I also plan on using much more of the accommodations and tools Queens provides because up until now I have not been utilizing them for my benefit. The main tool I plan to use is speaking more often with an academic advisor to make sure that I am always on the right track when it comes to course selection.
All of this along with the outside support I plan on acquiring all of this should give me the best chance to succeed. I plan on creating a more comprehensive course outline in the coming weeks with an academic advisor so I can be ready for course selection that is quickly approaching.
