Academic Plan
My academic plan will be to take a break ranging from all of summer term to maybe all of fall term next year while taking on psychiatric help such as therapy. When I resume my studies I plan to take a lighter course load as well as to take therapy during my studies. This plan is referenced by Queens academic advisor Jenna Kring.
After understanding how horrible my bpd has become throughout time, it is apparent that I finally need to prioritize my mental health since it has caused me to slack off on so many courses and assignments, neglect my mental and physical wellbeing, and miss some exams due to being bedridden. The reason I'd like to waive the requirement is to be able to take the time off, but at my own pace, still allowing myself to heal through a timeframe that I could control. At some point, I was once a bright, eccentric student that was able to hassle any obstacle that time would present her, but this gift faded away, and I'm just trying to get that spark back though my own moderation and with the help of psychiatric assistance. I promise to work on my mental health before continuing with my studies in order to achieve good academic integrity and be able to graduate sometime in the near future. If this withdrawal is waived I would also be looking into late dropping the courses that I have failed this year due to my circumstances– in order to start fresh and demonstrate the same academic abilities that got me into queens in the first place. Please consider giving me another chance to fix my life. I am able to provide additional documentation if required and am adamant in this plan for the future.
